Question by : Is my liver slowly failing and I am not even feeling it?
I am a 23 almost 24 year old female who drinks a bottle of wine or a bottle of cocktails three nights in a row weekend after weekend. Could this much wine and other alcohol be effecting my internal organs such as my liver and possibly other ones? And could my liver already be impaired or failing and I might not even know about it? I mean I haven’t been doing this for so long like 2-3 years but is it possible my liver is slowly failing and that I am on the road to cirrhosis with this intake? P.S. even though every fridays saturdays and sundays I have these three bottles most weeks I don’t drink any other days so what are my risks with my pattern am I at high risk for cirrhosis, medium risk or low risk? P.S. also when I say “bottle” of wine or something else I don’t mean like a galloon sized bottle I am talking about a slim sized bottle like the 750 ml’s sized and the 1 liters.
Cat am I in the reversible stages of liver damage still or could I already have cirrhosis?

The way you drink is classified as binge drinking. I’m sure your drinking hasn’t put you on death’s doorstep yet but yes, you are probably doing damage to your liver that is not yet noticeable.

this is the kit i have:
Hydrometer & trial jar, thermometer, mixing paddle, 100g steriliser, syphon tube & 1.5m of tubing, 1x 25ltr fermenting bucket with lid, 25ltr pressure barrel

You would need to buy a glass carboy for secondary fermentation and stuff for bottling. As far as I know you can’t make kegged wine.

~30 hours after pressing, racked the wine to get it off the "gross" lees, give it some air, and add the malolactic bacteria. Next racking won’t be for about a month, unless the malolactic fermentation goes very quickly.
